EXCLUSIVE: Nissan to reveal all-electric Interstar at Company Car in Action

Nissan is the latest manufacturer to sign up for this year’s fleet test-driving event of the year, Company Car in Action.
The manufacture will be bringing a number of models to the event, including the electric Ariya (pictured above) and Leaf, and will also unveil its all-electric Interstar van.
Company car in Action will take place at Millbrook Proving Ground, Bedfordshire, on 12-13 June and will offer fleet decision-makers and leasing company stakeholders to put around 200 full electric, plug-in hybrid and hybrid vehicles through their paces on four unique circuits.

Marco Capozzoli, fleet director at Nissan Motor GB, said: “Nissan is delighted to be returning to Millbrook for the UK’s premier driving event for fleet decision-makers and influencers.
“We will be supporting this illustrious event with our fantastic range that will include the electric Ariya and Leaf, our newly updated Qashqai and Juke models, and our commercial vehicle offering will include the electric Townstar EV. We’re also excited to be unveiling to the industry for the first time our all-new electric Interstar EV.
“Our in-house fleet team, as always, are looking forward to welcoming guests to our stand and answering any questions they have.”
The manufacturer will also be running a competition in partnership with Formula E, with two pairs of Grandstand tickets to the 2024 Hankook London E-Prix at London’s ExCeL Circuit in July, up for grabs.
Capozzoli added: “Put your driving skills to the test on the Nissan Formula E simulators and the fastest lap on each day of the CCIA event will win!”
Other brands confirmed for CCIA are Abarth, Alfa Romeo, BMW, Citroen, DS Automobiles, Fiat, Ford, Jeep, Kia, Maserati, Maxus, MG, MINI, Nissan, Peugeot, Polestar, Suzuki, Vauxhall and Volvo.
CCIA also offers fleets the chance to network with major brands’ fleet teams as well as hear from expert speakers who will present on key topics in our daily seminar sessions, that this year will look at workplace electric vehicle charging and feature a panel of manufacturer fleet representatives discussing future products, BEV transition and technology developments.
