BP Chargemaster is one of the UK’s biggest name in electric vehicle charging; designing, building, selling and maintaining charge points across the country. The company also runs Polar, the largest public charging network in the UK, giving members access to over 7,000 charge points. As the trusted charging infrastructure for thousands of EV drivers, BP Chargemaster works with owners, businesses, local authorities and car manufacturers to provide every aspect of electric charging.
New from BP:
BP is launching a new Fuel & Charge offer providing one simple solution to keep all vehicle fleets on the move no matter what their engine type. The offer comes as commercial fleets are facing more choice of fuel type than ever before.
Due to launch later this summer, the offer provides fleets in the UK with access to both the BP Plus cross acceptance network, comprised of over 3,600 fuel sites, and the polar network, the UK’s largest public charging network, which is made up of over 7,000 EV charging points. Drivers can check the BP Fuel & Charge Card App to find the closest available EV charging point or BP forecourt.
As well as access to these nationwide networks, BP can also offer customers fully integrated support, through the installation of home and office charging via BP Chargemaster. The combination of an extensive public charging network with work and home charging solutions, demonstrates BP’s commitment to ensuring EV is a viable option for more fleet customers.

The business initially provided its customers with a website portal providing driving licence checking results only; this later included documentation validation for vehicles used at work.
In 2014 Licence Bureau launched a unique new web portal, ‘Compliance Managed Services’ (CMS), which allows clients to access, check and improve their drivers quickly and efficiently online via an exception management alert system.
Services include: Driver Audit, Licence Checking, Grey Fleet Management, Risk Assessment and Driver Training, Permit to Drive and Right to Work Validation.
The event is very informative, allowing fleet decision makers to get up to speed on the latest in innovation, fleet efficiencies, and key fleet operational issues as well as exploring a large range of new products from a wide range of vehicle manufacturers.
If there is any event you’re going to attend make sure it’s CCIA. It’s a great opportunity to test drive new and existing products whilst getting to meet the manufacturer teams to build those relationships.
Fleet Managers now have an unprecedented opportunity to determine which power source in each duty cycle best suits their operation, from both an environmental and economical position.
